I think we can all agree that music shouldn’t just be something that causes head bobbing, but also something that keeps you guessing. Like art, music is an experience, bound by passion and decided by interpretation. The Chemical Brothers live by that, and are making firecrackers all over the scene that they helped create. They’re walking question marks, and know exactly how to integrate the power of tribal rhythm into their modern quest for exhilaration.

Ed and Tom became bonded through joy in mixing and making music. Their road has been paved with an impressive set of album correlations, and awesome stage sets. You know how so many artists somehow lose their kick when playing live? All I can say is, if it’s anything like their earlier work, techno-loving people everywhere will be giddy. Their magnetic numbers are a smorgasbord of strange delight, a wonderful way to tickle your brain with the unfamiliar. No doubt blessed with the gift of song, The Chemical Brothers have the potential to make any boring Tuesday night into a rave-quality fantasia. This synthesized music style is perfect for meditation, perfect for those with an aptitude for the bizarre and beautiful. It ties people together in the same chanting movement; it pulls everyone’s heart strings and ties them in one big knot. And everyone knows that music is by far one of the best spiritual glues. To look around and feel that you’re all connected by the rhythm, to look around and feel as though you belong.

These fast tracked fellas are no doubt blowing the minds of the masses all over the place, as they’re touring right now, releasing dates left and right.

Swoon, the first single off of Further, has been sliding around for a few weeks, and it’s definitely got the hypnotic power to knock you over.
