ORIANTHI: GUITAR HERO

Most known for being Michael Jackson’s guitarist, for his comeback tour This Is It, comes Orianthi (Or-e-o, oops I mean, OR-RI-AN-THEE).

Orianthi, who’s from the land down under, has also jammed out with Carlos Santana, Prince, & Carrie Underwood (what a strange combo?). And now she’s out with her own work.

“It wasn’t easy. It’s like being a male ballerina. Ballet is a girl’s thing and playing guitar is a guy’s thing, but hopefully this will get more girls playing guitar. When you watch the music video it’s not too much guitar but it’s there. If it inspires more girls to play guitar that would be really cool.”
