ROBBIE WILLIAMS RETURNS WITH ‘REALITY KILLED THE VIDEO STAR’
By: Rob Brayl
For BiggerThanBeyonce.Com

The charmingly jaded & charismatic Robbie Williams will return with a new album, REALITY KILLED THE VIDEO STAR, set to be released on Nov. 9th. The first single “Bodies” will be released in October. Williams worked with Trevor Horn (Paul McCartney, Cher), who was a member of the band The Buggles, which released the hit “Video Killed the Radio Star” in 1979.
Always fun. Always sexy. Always wearing his scars proudly. Always a winner to me!
Until we have a fresh slice of Robbie pop, here’s the flirty video for KIDS featuring Kylie Minogue below.

Coming through the speakers all the way from Belgium is Ameerah (which means “princess” in Arabic).
I really like the sweet message it delivers backed by Ameerah’s soothing vocals.
Ameerah’s debut album will drop sometime in 2010.
In the meantime, check out THE SOUND OF MISSING YOU by Ameerah below.

(Pastor & Author of THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING)

[Side note: Do yourself a favor & read THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING. I've read it 6 or 7x now. It's amazing how a simple thought process can be so profound & life changing. I consider it the original "The Secret".]
As a joke I decided it would be funny to post the music video to “Diamonds” by Fabolous ft. Young Jeezy (since this is a music blog homies). Seriously though, can’t these rappers write about something else besides bling, Benz, & brauds?

A ZOMBIE LOVE STORY SET TO INDIE ROCK! Brilliant.
This video is gross and weird but 110% original. And for that, it gets my seal of approval.

BARACK OBAMA TALKS MUSIC TO ROLLING STONE
By: Rob Brayl
For BiggerThanBeyonce.Com
You’ve gotten enormous support from the music community. Why do you think they’ve responded so strongly to your campaign?
Musicians and creative folks, generally, may be inclined toward the idea of change, or at least open to it–to not just settle for what is, but what might be…
Overall, what do you think of pop culture today? Is it a harmful or a healthy influence?
I’m not somebody who thinks that popular culture should carry the whole freight; it both shapes and reflects what’s happening in the country as a whole. What I have seen is a shift in attitutdes of young people wanting to be more engaged and more involved, and you’re going to start seeing that increasingly reflected in music as well…

By: Rob Brayl
For BiggerThanBeyonce.Com
Returning in October with Come to Life is Natalie Imbruglia who co-wrote with Coldplay’s Chris Martin on three tunes.
‘We’ve given her the best Coldplay song ever’, says Martin, speaking of the track tentatively titled SCARS.
In the meantime, check out my favorite Imbruglia song (the full of attitude, WISHING I WAS THERE) below.

MIRANDA LAMBERT MAKES DEAD FLOWERS COME ALIVE
By: Rob Brayl
For BiggerThanBeyonce.Com
Most people know Miranda Lambert as the spitfire country crooner or the Tomboy rebel. But there’s a sensitive, jaded side to Lambert that is utter poetry.
If you ever get the chance to see Lambert in concert, be prepared! She will make you scream and shout with her pink guitar and then break your heart within a split second. Amazingly talented, raw, and in her new video for the just released “Dead Flowers”, Miranda Lambert emerges as a glamazon.
Man! Country music has all the babes!
See how we grow ‘em down South by watching Lambert mourn poetically with a southern drawl below.
